Just got off the phone with Daren and he is sick with whatever is going around, so there will be no specific gymnastics class tonight. We should be back on track next Monday.

February 6, 2012: Catching up!
Hey guys here are the 2 remaining videos from the Olympic weightlifting competition on January 14th. Sorry it took so long.
Some updates as well:
Jo is offering $10 off on her massages for crossfitters at her new studio right above the Carlin
Athletes foot (on grand out towards shilo) is selling innov8′s. They don’t have the rope guard version yet, but will in July when Katie talked to them last weekend.
The CrossFit open (sectionals) starts on feb 22. Registration is already open and several of you are already registered. Registering gives you the ability to see your scores posted with thousand of other crossfitters doing the exact same workout across the world. We are going to be holding the workouts as the daily WOD on Fridays as soon as they are available. If you are registered, one of our trainers will serve as your own personal referee to make sure every single rep is legitimate. We will open this competition to anyone who is registered gym member or not.
It looks like the house deal is going through and we will be moving 2 blocks west this weekend. If you have a truck, able body or a desire to help, meet us at 3310 2nd ave south this Saturday at noon. We will have everything already boxed up and ready to move. Most of it is in storage units already, so it should be a pretty painless, although we might have to walk a swing set down the street. Katie and I haven’t seen most of this since 2005, so we feel like it is a second Christmas.

February 3, 2012: Yoga at 6:00 tonight, and a reminder about Saturday Hours
We have yoga tonight, at 6:00 instead of 6:30.
Just a reminder, Saturday CrossFit workouts are from 10:00am to 11:00 am. Oly lifting is 11:00am to 1:00 pm. Kettlebell class has moved to 8:00am.
February 3, 2012: Friday – CrossFit Hero WOD Dae Han: Weighted Run, Rope Climbs, Thrusters
DAE HAN
U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Dae Han Park, 36, of Watertown, CT, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), based out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, died on March 12, 2011 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
He is survived by his wife, Mi Kyong, daughters Niya and Sadie, parents Joseph and Bonnie, and siblings Katie and Saejin.
Three rounds of:
- Run 800 meters with a 45 pound barbell (barbell is rx, can carry plate instead)
- 15 foot Rope climb, 3 ascents
- 135 pound Thruster, 12 reps
