Young Athletic Program Sign up sheet!!!!

The Young Athletic Program is designed for high school and college athletes striving to bring their game to the next level.  It will hit every aspect of the sports they participate in.  We will be working daily on speed, agility, cardio, and strength to improve their overall fitness.  Working outside will be a large portion of the programming, running hills, doing agility ladders, focusing on jumping form and lifting weights inside and outside the gym.

This program will start June 18th and go till August 3th and will run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  Athlete’s class time will begin at 4 PM. Each session will last between an hour to an hour and  half depening on what we will be doing. Workouts will be posted everyday on this page.  There is a flat fee of $175 for the 7 week program.  We felt this was reasonably priced, so if students have to miss a session or a week they will still be getting their money’s worth!

Other programs in town, at double the price for only 3 days a week, focus on just agility and speed training and ignore the power gains of Olympic Weightlifting.  Here at Alternative Athletics we will hit every topic that has to do with any sport.  Our trainers work directly with 8x National Champion weightlifter and coach Phil Sabderson, who is a Billings living legend!

Most Billings young athlete programs are run by personal trainers whose primary concern is working with adults.  As the trainer running the Alternative Athletics Youth Program, Steph Jensen’s time is entirely focused on youth athletics.  We do this in order to prepare Billings high school students for the next season and the next level if they choose to play their sport in college.

To sign up please print off sign up sheet and release form (above in blue labeled Young Athletic Program) and mail with payment to: (checks are to be made payable to Stephanie Jensen)

Hello, My name is Steph and I am going to be heading the Young Athletic program here at Alternative Athletics.  A program that is sports specific for high school athletes.

Just so you all know a little about me.  I graduated from Rocky Mountain college this December with a degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science and a teaching cert.  While at Rocky I played soccer on a scholarship. I also am the assistant JV soccer coach at Billings West High school and I am a magic city soccer coach.

I am very excited about this program because my passion is working with young adults who are serious about sports.  I want to improve their athleticism in order to bring their ability in their sport to the next level.  I am tailoring this program specifically for the athletes here at Alternative Athletics.

Steph
